We can still distinguish two distinct parts at Kerobokan: the southern part, if located under Jalan Raya Petitenget, and the northern part. The southern part is very developed, you will find, especially on Jalan Raya Kerobokan, many restaurants; small typical warungs, but also international fast food chains like Pizza Hut. You will also find spas, but also clothing and especially decoration shops. Kerobokan is the destination not to be missed for decoration fans, you can find everything you could possibly want. This area of Bali is particularly developed because of its proximity to Seminyak and Petitenget, two very touristy and developed areas. It is a very good alternative to these very popular, and therefore much more expensive, neighbourhoods. The second part of Kerobokan, the northern part, is much calmer and more peaceful. You will find very few, if any tourists, and can live in the heart of the premises in Balinese culture.
Kerobokan is therefore an excellent alternative to the hyper-tourist districts of Seminyak and Canggu at a lower cost. You can live in a peaceful environment but you will still find many activities to do, as well as all the necessary amenities.
