Good news for Tourism : the International Indonesian airline Garuda Indonesia is planning to direct open flights from Paris, Los Angeles, San Francisco, New Delhi & Mumbai to the renowned destination Bali.
Looking forward to the planning of Bali New Normal, this plan goes in hand with the will of the governor of Bali to open borders to International Tourism from September 11th.
Garuda President Irfan Setiaputra stated that the airline is currently reviewing a plan with the Ministry of Tourism on the possibility of making this happen.
“Garuda and the Tourism Ministry have agreed that the only way to boost foreign tourist visits is by introducing direct flights to Denpasar. Hopefully, we can make it through this crisis and start direct flights from countries that have large spending capabilities”
“We’ll also fit the schedule to accommodate tourists with morning arrivals and evening departures, so they can spend most of their time on the island.”
Bali is currently slowly resuming domestic tourism & local activities, and the future opening to international tourism would be a great news for the economy, which in Bali surely relies a lot on tourism.
