DRUGS IN BALI

Indonesia takes a strong stance against drug trafficking with its zero-tolerance policy, which is shared by many Southeast Asian countries.

That also includes cannabis which is legalized in some other countries.

President Joko Widodo considers the fight against drugs to be a national emergency and has implemented strict measures, including the use of strict punishment for drug offences with a minimum of 1 month of jail time and fines of $50.000,-.
